Judge in Delphi murders case suffered 'urgent medical condition'

Judge Frances Gull was hospitalized in early November and is now working from home.

ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. — The judge in the Delphi murders case is recovering at home after an "urgent medical condition."

According to a statement from the Allen Superior Court, Judge Frances Gull was feeling under the weather for several days before talking with her physician on Nov. 2.

Her doctor decided she needed treatment for an "urgent medical condition," and she was hospitalized for several days.

Since then, she has been working from home.

Her fellow judges in the criminal division have been handling Gull's court calendar.

She expects to return to the office soon.
