DELPHI, Ind. — The man accused of leaking evidence photos in the Delphi murders case is no longer facing any charges.
A Johnson County judge dismissed the misdemeanor conversion charge that Mitchell Thomas Westerman was facing.
Westerman allegedly told investigators that while visiting the office of a defense attorney in the Delphi murders case, he took pictures of evidence photos and then shared them. They eventually ended up in the hands of various YouTube and podcast creators.
However, Westerman since reached a deal with prosecutors, who agreed to dismiss the case once Westerman completed his pre-trial diversion program.
According to online court records, the charge was dismissed Oct. 23.
