INDIANAPOLIS — An Indianapolis man and convicted sex offender has a warrant out for his arrest after recently released court documents say he showed a Target employee his penis after pushing a shopping cart into a clothing rack.
Christopher Hockenberry is wanted for public nudity in connection with the incident. In 2016, online court records show Hockenberry was convicted of child solicitation. He was convicted again in 2017 of child molesting and solicitation.
According to recently released court documents, on June 26 an IMPD officer self-dispatched to the Target located at 6101 N. Keystone Avenue after a report of a person exposing. When the officer arrived at the store, they spoke with a loss prevention officer who told them the incident happened the previous day on June 25.
Court documents say the loss prevention officer told the IMPD officer that around 4:40 p.m., a man, later identified as Hockenberry, entered the Target store. The loss prevention officer greeted Hockenberry and asked if he needed any help locating items. Hockenberry reportedly became angry and began yelling at the loss prevention officer.
The loss prevention officer allegedly told police that Hockenberry then grabbed a shopping cart, pushed it into a rack of clothes and continued walking down an aisle. When the loss prevention officer followed Hockenberry, Hockenberry allegedly turned around, unzipped his pants, exposed his penis and told the loss prevention officer "suck my (expletive)."
Hockenberry then left the store.
Court documents say the entire incident was captured on surveillance video.
