Carmel Police looking for person who vandalized police statue

Carmel Police officers are looking for the person responsible for vandalizing a police statue on June 20, 2020.

CARMEL, Ind — Carmel Police officers are looking for the person who defaced a police statue in downtown Carmel on June 20.

It happened around 3:45 a.m. at West Main Street and the Monon Greenway. Images show a male vandalizing the statue. In the photos, he is wearing a gray long sleeve shirt, dark sweatpants, a black knit cap and a white mask.
