INDIANAPOLIS — Two people were taken into custody after a Carmel police chase ended in a crash on Indianapolis' east side early Wednesday.
Around 1 a.m. March 27, a Carmel Police Department officer tried to stop a Dodge Charger for possible speeding when the driver led police on a chase.
The chase continued on southbound Interstate 465 on Indy's east side, and the Charger exited at Brookville Road before crashing while attempting to make a turn off the exit ramp.
At least one person ran from the car and was taken into custody along with another person who was inside the vehicle, with assistance from IMPD, Carmel police confirmed to 13News.
