18-year-old Carmel man charged for harassing former high school principal

The victim told the Carmel Police Department he received two voicemails on July 7 addressed to him from a former high school student.

CARMEL, Ind. — A Carmel man is facing charges after threatening his former high school principal

According to court documents, the victim told the Carmel Police Department he received two voicemails on July 7 addressed to him from a former high school student, 18-year-old Liam Hansen.

Court documents say the victim's wife received a phone call and voicemail at 11:25 p.m.

Here is an alleged transcript of the voicemail on her phone:

"Hey (victim's name), I just thought I'd be the better man and tell you to go f*** yourself. This is Liam Hansen, have a good one. I'd like to see your head on a spike, but unfortunately, it might not happen for a good 40 years. F*** you."

Court documents say the victim then checked his phone and found that he also received a phone call and voicemail from Hansen. This call was from 11:27 p.m., two minutes after the call to the victim's wife.

The alleged voicemail on his phone is as follows:

"Hey (victim's name), you disgusting f***. You can go f*** yourself, and I will be watching. Watching peacefully, watching patriotically, and watching unviolently. OK, you can't report me for anything. I'm going to be watching you peacefully and unviolently for the rest of your g****** f****** life. OK, so nice job a******...r*****...f***-up."

According to court documents, the telephone number that was used to call both the victim and his wife is listed on official school records as Hansen's when he attended the high school.

Hansen was charged with two counts of harassment by means of a telephone call.
