BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — A Bloomington man was arrested in a deadly crash that killed a woman.
Police were called around 6:40 a.m. on Feb. 20 about a person in dark clothing walking southbound in the northbound lane of South State Road 37. That woman was near Dillman Road when she was hit and killed.
Police began investigating, which led them to a 38-year-old man. He was taken to the hospital for a blood draw and then to the Monroe County Jail. He is being held for leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death.
The woman is not yet being identified while authorities try to notify next of kin.
