INDIANAPOLIS — A suspect has been arrested after leading IMPD on a police chase through Cumberland on Wednesday.
According to a social media post by the Cumberland Police Department, Cumberland officers assisted Indianapolis Metropolitan Police during a March 13 pursuit of an armed suspect.
The post did not mention the location or the time of when the chase began. However, Cumberland police said they monitored and assisted IMPD by blocking traffic and giving updates on the suspect's location throughout the chase.
IMPD officers, assisted by Cumberland officers, eventually stopped the suspect at the intersection of East 10th Street and North German Church Road.
No officers or other individuals were injured during the pursuit.
