JOHNSON COUNTY, Ind. (WTHR) – The Johnson County Sheriff's Office arrested four people in connection with a drug investigation.

On Saturday, April 25, Ricky Blythe and Michael Riddle were arrested on a charge of Conspiracy to Dealing in Meth. April Blythe and Sherry Riddle were also arrested for Dealing in Meth.

Detectives say that during the month of April, the sheriff's office, DEA and Franklin police were alerted to phone calls being made by inmate Ricky Blythe to his sister, April Blythe regarding meth and heroin distribution. The inmate was warned the calls may be recorded and monitored.

Detectives say the calls orchestrated a plan for inmates Ricky Blythe and Michael Riddle to have their counter-parts outside, April Blythe and Sherry Riddle, perform a half ounce of meth transaction in Franklin.

With the information heard on the phone calls, a traffic stop was conducted and during a search of April Blythe's vehicle, police found just under one pound of meth along with over $1,000 in cash and a firearm.

The Johnson County Sheriff's Office requested a search warrant for the residence where they found Sherry Riddle and located another half once of meth.

"People are warned about calls being recorded or monitored in the jail they continue to orchestrate crimes and confess to committing crimes," said Sheriff Burgess in a release.
