MUNCIE, Ind. — Police arrested a 31-year-old man from Muncie on preliminary charges of possession of child pornography and bestiality.
Members of the Indiana Crimes Against Children Task Force served a search warrant Wednesday, May 29 at a home in the 2000 block of West Woodmont Drive, near North Oakwood Avenue and West McGalliard Road, after receiving cybertips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
According to Indiana State Police, the suspect was released in April on a previous sex crime-related conviction.

The Indiana State Police Internet Crimes Against Children Unit was assisted by examiners from the Indiana State Police Digital Forensics Unit, ISP Central SWAT Team, troopers from the Pendleton District and the Indiana Department of Correction.
The suspect was arrested and transported to the Delaware County Jail on the following preliminary charges:
- Possessing child pornography depicting child engaged in bestiality
- Possession of child pornography, possession of child pornography depicting child under 12 years old
- Possession of child pornography
- Bestiality
- Warrant for parole violation
The Indiana Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, overseen by Indiana State Police, is a multiagency task force that investigates people who use the internet to sexually exploit or entice children.
