MUNCIE, Ind. — One man was killed and another suffered minor injuries in a stabbing in Muncie Monday evening.
Around 9:30 p.m. Sept. 10, Muncie Police Department officers responded to a report of the stabbing in the 1800 block of East Cornell Avenue, near East McGalliard Road and North Broadway Avenue.
A Muncie city official said two men were found on the scene. John Springman, 31, was found in critical condition and taken to a local hospital. The next morning, he was pronounced dead. A 29-year-old was also found on scene with minor injuries and was treated by medics there.
This incident is under an ongoing investigation, and no arrests have been made in the case.
