INDIANAPOLIS — IMPD is investigating after three people who were shot arrived at a hospital on the east side of Indianapolis Friday afternoon.
Police responded to a report of a person shot shortly after 4 p.m. July 12 in the 1500 block of North Ritter Avenue, which is the address for Community Hospital East.
An IMPD spokesperson confirmed three people had been shot, with one person in critical condition and the other two's conditions said to be "stable."
IMPD believes this is related to a shots fired incident that happened around 3:45 p.m. in the 8500 block of Lenna Court, near 42nd Street and North Post Road.
Police have not shared information at this time about a possible suspect or motive.
