KOKOMO, Ind. — Three Indianapolis women have been arrested for their alleged involvement in stealing from a beauty store in Kokomo Monday afternoon.
Just before 3 p.m., Kokomo Police Department officers responded to a theft at Ulta Beauty in the 2100 block of East Boulevard.
When police arrived, they detained the three suspect as they left the business. One woman was found with the recently-stolen merchandise from the store, according to KPD. Officers also learned that thousands of dollars in merchandise had also been stolen from a nearby Kohl's.
During their investigation, officials found over $8,000 in cash, a vehicle and several phones.
Investigators believe the trio is part of a larger "retail theft organization," according to KPD.
