2 injured in north Indianapolis shooting

One of the victims was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

INDIANAPOLIS — Police are investigating a shooting that wounded two people on the north side of Indianapolis early Wednesday.

The shootings happened just after midnight in the 4100 block of Broadway Street, just west of the Indiana State Fairgrounds. 

One of the victims, an adult male, was transported to the hospital in critical condition and later described as stable. The other victim, an adult female, was also described as stable.

IMPD told 13News, it appears the shooting was a targeted incident with shots being fired into a house with multiple people inside from an alley behind it.
