INDIANAPOLIS — Two people were injured and another is in critical condition following multiple shootings early Sunday morning in Indianapolis, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
Around 12:30 a.m., IMPD officers responded to Eskenazi Hospital on a report of a walk-in person who had been shot. Officers confirmed the person had been shot and is in stable condition.
Just before 1:45 a.m., IMPD responded to a report of a person shot in the 7200 block of East 21st Street on Indy's east side. When officers arrived, they found a person who had been shot. The victim in this shooting was reported to be in stable condition.
Shortly after 4:15 a.m., IMPD officers responded to another walk-in person shot, this time at Community East Hospital. Officers arrived and confirmed a person had been shot. The victim is in critical condition, according to IMPD.
These investigations are ongoing.
