INDIANAPOLIS — IMPD is investigating a deadly shooting that happened Thursday morning on the city's near south side.
Police responded to a report of a person shot in the 2200 block of South Meridian Street, near East Raymond Street, around 7 a.m. June 27.
Officers arrived and found a man with at least one gunshot wound in a home. Police confirmed the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Marion County Coroner's Office identified the deceased as 30-year-old Treyvon William Flaville.
An IMPD spokesperson confirmed to 13News that this is an isolated incident, and there is no threat to the public. The spokesperson said they do not have a suspect in custody at this time.
Northbound lanes of Meridian Street at East Pleasant Run Parkway North Drive were closed during the investigation.
