A woman who was critically injured in a shooting Monday on the east side of Indianapolis has died.
Police said the shooting happened around 3 p.m. in the 6500 block of East 25th Street, near Windsor Village Park. The woman was located at the scene with apparent gunshot wounds.
She was taken to IU Health Methodist Hospital in critical condition, but later died from her injuries.
The Marion County Coroner's Office identified the woman as 23-year-old Anya West.
Police have not yet released information about a possible suspect or motive for the shooting.
