INDIANAPOLIS — Police are investigating a fatal double shooting that happened Saturday morning on the east side of Indianapolis.
IMPD responded to a report of a person shot in the 100 block of North Linwood Avenue, near East Washington Street, just after 9 a.m. Sept. 7.
When officers arrived, they found two men outside with gunshot wounds. One was pronounced dead at the scene. The other was taken in critical condition to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
On Sept. 9, the Marion County Coroner's Office identified the men as 49-year-old Jason Clark and 41-year-old Gary A. Reed and ruled both of their deaths as homicides.
IMPD homicide detectives responded to the scene to start the investigation.
Police have not shared information at this time about a possible suspect or motive.
