25-year-old man killed in north Indianapolis shooting

The shooting was reported around 7 p.m. Monday on Biscay Square, near Michigan Road and West 67th Street.

INDIANAPOLIS — Police are investigating a shooting that left one person dead on the north side of Indianapolis Monday evening. 

The shooting was reported around 7 p.m. May 13 in the 2200 block of Biscay Square, which is near Michigan Road and West 67th Street. 

According to IMPD, officers were dispatched to the scene on a report of a person shot. The victim, an adult male, was pronounced dead at the scene.

On Tuesday, May 14, the Marion County Coroner's Office identified the victim as 25-year-old Julio C. Castillo Bedoya and said his death was a homicide.

Police are still investigating to determine when the shooting happened.
