INDIANAPOLIS — IMPD is investigating after one person was critically injured in a shooting on Indianapolis' north side Monday afternoon.
The shooting was reported around 1 p.m. Oct. 7 in the 3700 block of North Meridian Street, near 38th Street.
Responding officers located a gunshot victim who was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.
Police said the person believed to be responsible for the shooting has been detained, and investigators said they are not aware of any ongoing threat to the public at this time.
