INDIANAPOLIS — IMPD is investigating a incident that left one person in critical condition Friday afternoon on the city's near northeast side.
Police responded to a report of a person shot near the intersection of East 30th Street and Ralston Avenue, near Frederick Douglass Park, around 2 p.m. Aug. 16.
Officers arrived and found a person who had been injured. Medics took the victim to a hospital in critical condition.
On Friday evening, an IMPD said investigators had determined that the injuries were from blunt force trauma, not from a shooting.
