INDIANAPOLIS — IMPD is investigating a shooting in a Kroger parking lot that injured a man Friday afternoon on the city's near north side.
Officers responded to a report of a person shot in the 500 block of East 16th Street, near Central Avenue, around 2:45 p.m. Aug. 30.
When officers arrived, they found a person who had been shot. IMPD initially said the man was taken in a hospital in critical condition, but the man's condition has since been upgraded to "stable."
13News reporter Chase Houle responded to the scene and counted seven shell casings in the parking lot.
Police have not shared information at this time about a possible suspect or motive.
