1 critically injured in shooting on Indy's west side

The shooting happened just before 12:30 p.m. Sunday near West 34th Street and Moller Road.

INDIANAPOLIS — One person was critically injured in a shooting on Indianapolis' west side Sunday afternoon.

Around 12:30 p.m. March 3, IMPD officers responded to a report of a person shot in the 5500 block of West 34th Street, near Moller Road. 

Officers located a man in a parking lot who had been shot and was taken to a local hospital in critical condition, police told 13News. 

Police have not shared any additional information on the circumstances of the shooting.
