INDIANAPOLIS — Indianapolis police are investigating a shooting that left one man critically injured near a park on the city's east side Wednesday evening.
Around 8:30 p.m. on Sept. 18, officers responded to a report of a person shot in Gardner Park in the 6900 block of East 46th Street, near Shadeland Avenue, according to IMPD.
When officers arrived, they found one victim, an adult male, who had been shot. Police say the victim was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.
