INDIANAPOLIS — Indianapolis Metropolitan Police officers are investigating a shooting near the Riverside neighborhood on the city's near west side Friday evening.
According to IMPD, shortly after 6 p.m. on May 31, officers responded to the 2100 block of Sugar Grove Avenue, which is near West 21st and North Harding streets, on a report of a person shot. Officers arrived and found one shooting victim at the scene.
Police said the victim was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.
