BARGERSVILLE, Ind. — A man is in critical condition after coming in contact with a high voltage power line.
The Bargersville Fire Department said the man is a contractor and was operating an excavator in the 3500 block of West Whiteland Road when the machine became tangled in overhead wires.
Investigators said when he attempted to untangle the line, he contacted power lines.
Medics transported the man to Community Hospital South, where he remains in critical condition.
