INDIANAPOLIS — For this Check Up 13, we have an opportunity for you to learn what your options are if you have painful varicose veins.
Tonya Hole is a mother of four and says her legs got worse after her pregnancy with twins.
On top of that, she's a doctor and is on her feet all day, working 12-hour shifts in the emergency room.
"It would be pretty achy and swollen, usually at the end of my shift," Hole said.
She had a radiofrequency ablation.
Since her procedure, her bulging veins are gone and so is her pain.
If you are in a similar situation and want to see what your options are, you may register for a free vein consultation at any of the several Ascension St. Vincent locations, courtesy of Check Up 13.
You may call the hotline at 1-866-U-CHECK-13 (1-866-824-3251) or register online here, by end of day July 13.
This is an issue that doesn't get better on it's own, and doctors say frequently over time, or after pregnancy, it only gets worse.
