Indianapolis - He's furry, blue, very energetic and at a loss for words. The Colts' new mascot is a horse with no name, and the team is looking for fans to help out.

At a press conference Tuesday morning, Regions Bank announced it is sponsoring a contest to name the new mascot. Fans can submit their ideas at any Regions Bank branch.

Whether it's Lucky, Thunder or Trotter, the Colts say they hope the new mascot will provide a higher level of entertainment for fans and allow the team to expand its outreach to the community. On Tuesday, the yet-to-be-named mascot was set to visit local Boys and Girls Clubs and kids at Riley Hospital.

Colts officials, flanked by the Colts cheerleaders, were joined by the Regions Bank president and CEO for the announcement.

Barbara Brannick, Regions Bank president, said the Colts provide an "enormous economic impact" to the city and offer Indianapolis a chance to shine.

The new mascot repelled down the side of the Regions Bank building, which was damaged in storms earlier this year. After a mix-up with the music, eventually "Eye of the Tiger" began blaring to accompany his antics. When he landed, he immediately began high-fiving everyone in sight.

Head to any Regions bank branch until September 12 to submit your suggestion - and don't bother with "Mr. Ed." The mascot's name will be announced during the half-time show at the September 17 Colts vs. Houston game.

Colts.com - The Colts will have information about the contest on their site starting at roughly 1:00 pm Tuesday.
