Marion County, April 27 - Just after 4 p.m. Sunday, Marion County Sheriff's detectives discovered the body of 25-year-old Leslie Dickerson in the dumpster of a Boston Market restaurant on East Washington Street.

Detectives say Dickerson was a manager at the restaurant and disappeared sometime between late Saturday night after getting off work.

Lt. Phil Burton of the Marion County Sheriff's Department said, "Her husband, John Dickerson actually called when she did not show up for home, that she was missing."

When questioning Dickerson's co-workers detectives discovered that restaurant employee Abraham Maya was wanted on a drunk driving charge out of Boone County.

Police arrested him on that charge.

After further questioning of Abraham, police say he offered information leading to the discovery of the body.

Detectives say Maya also provided information leading to the discovery of Dickerson's car found in the parking lot of Schlotsky's Deli less than a block away from where her body was found.

Crime lab and coroner's investigators are still trying to determine the cause of death and excatly what happened between the time Dickerson got off work, was murdered and the body was disposed of in the restaurant dumpster.
