INDIANAPOLIS — If you need to do some Easter shopping, the clock is ticking.
What's the Deal with what candy people want the most? We're talking baskets, candy, decor and more.
Americans are expected to spend an average of $321. That's according to survey by Retail Me Not, and it's up from $287 last year.
The top spending categories?
65% percent of people say they're buying chocolate or candy. 48% are spending on a basket and 48% of those surveyed say they're spending on Easter eggs.
Trailing behind those categories are food, clothing and décor.
Now for our favorite candy: Chocolate robin eggs came in first, followed by the chocolate bunny and jelly beans.
