Big win for college athletes
The Supreme Court ruled against the NCAA Monday, eliminating the cap on education-related benefits for student athletes. (Think free laptops or paid post-grad internships.) The NCAA previously limited benefits to free tuition and room and board.
The court did not rule on compensation.
American cancels hundreds of flights
American Airlines is cutting back on flights until July after canceling hundreds of flights over the weekend.
Only about 1 percent of flights should be affected.
The company blames staffing shortages and maintenance, among other issues.
Delta hiring hundreds of pilots
Delta Airlines is looking to hire more than 1,000 pilots by next summer, according to a company memo seen by CNBC.
American, United Airlines, Spirit Airlines and other carriers have restarted or plan to resume pilot hiring this year.
