INDIANAPOLIS — After being stuck inside all winter, we're finally able to start getting out and about. If you're looking for a fun date night activity or outing with the family, our partners Yelp Indy have five free activities to enjoy this spring.
1. Tour Bottleworks Hotel
The former Coca-Cola Bottling building has now transformed into a stunning hotel, rich with stories, history and quirk. Head inside and ask the concierge for a tour; they’re always happy to show off the stunning space.
2. Taste chocolate at SoChatti
On their quest for dairy-free chocolate, SoChatti discovered a technology that unlocks flavor unlike anything you’ve tried before. They just opened their first tasting room in the Circle City Industrial Complex and offer complimentary chocolate tastings. If you have more than four people in your group, please book a reservation here at least 2 hours prior to arrival. If you have a group of four or less, you can show up without a reservation.
3. Enjoy a SWISH performance
Celebrate March Madness with live music, performances, and art displays along the Cultural Trail and downtown civic spaces, now until April 5. Enjoy local dancers, DJs, photo backgrounds, art pop-ups, and more.
4. Watch the Monument Circle light show
Head to Monument Circle any night of the year for a light-show tribute projected on the surrounding buildings and accompanied by an Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra original score.
5. Soak in the skyline view at Central Public Library
Step into the library and be awed by the stunning architecture, then ride up to the top floor for a bucket-list-worthy view of the downtown skyline. While you’re there, pick up a new book or get your library card too.
Yelp Indy invites you to join them in support of local businesses by nominating yourself for the Yelp Indy Elite Squad, granting access to free special experiences and events.
