INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - Here we go again.
Every few weeks, we have to tell you about a fake coupon or voucher going around on Facebook that might contain malware, which can ask for, or take without asking, your personal information.
This coupon offers $41 off any purchase of $50 or more. The coupon says the deal is offered because Costco is celebrating their 41st anniversary.
While Costco is celebrating their 41st anniversary (the company was founded in 1976), they aren't offering that coupon.
It's always a good idea to check to make sure the website offering the coupon is legitimate. Costco-USA.win is not Costco's website. Costco.com is. Also, the voucher offered is full of typos and grammatical errors.
We've told you about several of these in the past. Aldi's $75 off $80 was fake.
So was the Bed, Bath, and Beyond $75 off coupon.
And the $60 Kroger coupon, too.
Make sure you know what you're sharing so that you don't put your friends and family at risk!
(BONUS TIP: The same goes for those "Win A Disney Vacation - Just like, share, and comment!" posts.)
