LOUISVILLE (WTHR) — Kentucky Fried Chicken is adding to its menu.
KFC is introducing mac & cheese bowls. The bowls are a main dish of macaroni & cheese topped with popcorn chicken and a three-cheese blend.
And if you're all about the spice, customers can Nashville Hot Sauce to the bowl.
"Mac and Cheese has a cult-like following, and bowl food is a trend that isn't going away anytime soon," said Andrea Zahumensky, KFC U.S. CMO. "So, it made perfect sense to call up a favorite side dish to the big leagues, in a way that only we could, with Mac and Cheese Bowls."
The new Mac & Cheese $5 Fill Up comes with a medium drink and chocolate chip cookie.
The meal will be available nationwide Aug. 26.
