L.L. Bean plans to open Indianapolis store this fall

The company announced plans Tuesday to open four new stores across the United States in 2024, including one on the north side of Indianapolis.

INDIANAPOLIS — Outdoor retailer L.L. Bean is coming to Indianapolis. 

The company announced plans Tuesday to open four new stores across the United States in 2024, including one on the north side. 

The new Indianapolis store, which will be the only one in the state, is scheduled to open this fall at Rivers Edge on East 82nd Street, near Dean Road. Current stores at Rivers Edge include Bicycle Garage Indy, Nordstrom Rack and The Container Store, along with Harry & Izzy's and Giordano's restaurants.

L.L. Bean opened one of its new stores last month in Ulster, New York, and also plans to open locations in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, and Enfield, Connecticut, this fall.
