ATLANTA (WTHR) — Gone are the days of saving those packets of Chick-fil-A sauce. The chicken restaurant announced Wednesday it will begin selling its sauces in bottles in Florida starting in April.
Customers will be able to buy 16-ounce bottles of Chick-fil-A sauce and Polynesian sauce at some grocery stories in Florida. The sauces will be available at all Florida locations of Publix, Target, Walmart and Winn-Dixie.
The restaurant will also supply 8-ounce bottles of Polynesian, Barbeque, Honey Mustard and Garden Herb Ranch sauces with catering orders in Florida in Mid-March.
The 16-ounce bottles will be sold for $3.49. Money from every bottle purchase will go toward the Chick-fil-A Remarkable Futures Scholarship Initiative, which provides college scholarships to Chick-fil-A employees.
Chick-fil-A may decide to make the sauce bottles available nationwide later this year if the Florida rollout is successful.
