INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - A service outage that affecting AT&T customers across the Great Lakes region has been repaired.
Service appears to have been restored early Saturday morning.
Hundreds of service interruptions were reported by the Outage Report website, which said the highest number of outages were reported in Chicago, Indianapolis and St. Louis.
Replies sent from the AT&T customer service Twitter account, @ATTCares, also confirm the outage.
Outage Report says the outage first began around 5 p.m. EDT and began to spike around 7 p.m. with a high of 1,085 reports at 8:40 p.m.
During the outage, AT&T customers who tried to make phone calls received either a "Call Failed" message or a recording that the call can't be completed as dialed.
