GREENWOOD, Ind. (WTHR) — Amazon is hiring for 1,000 full-time positions ahead of the launch of its new facility in Greenwood.

The new facility is more than 600,000 square feet and will house workers that receive inventory and pick and ship orders. It will also support network logistics.

Amazon jobs start at $15 per hour and full-time employees get benefits including comprehensive healthcare, 401(k) with 50 percent match, up to 20 weeks of paid parental leave and the Career Choice program. Career choice pre-pays 95 percent of tuition for courses in high-demand fields like game design, nursing, IT programming and radiology.

Amazon has also pledged to invest more than $700 million in more training for high demand jobs for their workers.

Job candidates must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Apply for positions at www.amazon.com/indianajobs. Veterans and military spouses are encouraged to apply.
