The Humane Society for Hamilton County is announcing the kickoff of its Annual Matching Campaign. From June 1 to June 30, every donation made to the shelter will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $110,000, doubling the impact of every contribution to help animals in need.

"As one of the only open-admission, truly no-kill shelters in the state of Indiana, our animals are counting on your donations," said Lily Darling, community engagement manager for the Humane Society for Hamilton County. "Over 70 of our animals have been here longer than 100 days. 40 of those animals have been waiting over 200 days to find loving homes. By donating during the Annual Matching Campaign, you are making a promise to these animals that you support their journey to find their happily ever after – no matter how long it takes."

 Here's how to participate:

  • Donate online: Click here to make a secure online donation.
  • Mail a check: Send your contribution to 10501 Hague Road, Fishers, IN 46038, noting “Matching Campaign” in the memo.
  • Visit in-person: Drop by the shelter during operating hours (8 a.m. - 5 p.m. daily) to make a donation in-person.
