INDIANAPOLIS — Spring is here in central Indiana, which means the time for gardening and sculpting your perfect lawn is now.
Unfortunately, that also means some animals are going to start coming around more often to nibble away at your beautiful flowers and plants.
Pat Sullivan, with Sullivan Hardware and Garden, joined 13Sunrise to share how you can safely drive the pesky critters away from your work.
Here is some of Sullivan's best advice:
- Spray your plants with repellant when they are tender and new.
- Use chicken wire around your seedlings while they are starting to grow.
- Scatter dry product around plants for specific animals.
- Use traps and release the animal within a mile radius.
