INDIANAPOLIS — Tomorrow is Labor Day, which means it's time to start thinking about fall.
Pat Sullivan, from Sullivan Hardware and Garden, is making sure your lawn is ready for the colder season.
Here's a few tips he shared:
- Fertilize your lawn in September and November (the best times for it)
- Get grass seed down now
- Avoid phosphorus in your lawn this fall
- Fill patches in your lawn with fertilizer or other growth seeds
