INDIANAPOLIS — "Toilet talk" is different from a potty mouth, says Pat Sullivan, of Sullivan Hardware & Garden.
He's sharing his tips for how to maintain your toilet and prevent costly plumbing problems. Here are some of his tips on how to avoid a plumbing disaster:
- There's nothing typically wrong with the water pull valve.
- Use a bit of food coloring to see where your water is coming from.
- If you see the food coloring down in the toilet, you'll know the flapper is leaking.
- Anybody can fix a flapper.
