INDIANAPOLIS — The Christmas Night of Lights, the largest drive-thru light show in Indianapolis, is returning this holiday season!
The event will take place at the Indiana State Fairgrounds from Nov. 8-Dec. 31. Attendees are to use the entrance at Gate 12 on 42nd Street.
The event will be open from 6-10 p.m., with extended hours on weekends.
Event officials said some highlights of the Christmas Night of Lights include a new cosmic wall of lights, a life-sized Nativity and Candyland, and a "giant" American flag.
Attendees must stay in their vehicle and turn off their headlights when entering the show. Pets are welcome, as long as they stay inside the vehicle.
Tickets are $35 per car (up to eight passengers), $55 for 9-15 passengers and $80 for 16+ passengers. Online reservations are "mandatory" and sold in two-hour time slots.
The Christmas Night of Lights is working with several organizations this year, including the Mozel Sanders Foundation, Shepherd Community Center, Riley's Children Hospital, Salvation Army, Special Olympics, National Ovarian Cancer Coalition, Muscular Dystrophy Family Foundation and more.
Event officials said a portion of the proceeds from ticket sales, from Nov. 8 through the Nov. 22, will be donated to these charities.
“We are excited to bring Christmas Nights of Lights back to the Indiana State Fairgrounds,” said LeRoy Lewis III, director of community and media engagement. “This event has become a beloved holiday tradition for many families, and we look forward to creating more magical memories this season.”
