BLOOMINGTON, Ind — Hoosiers looking to stay sober but still enjoy time with friends or family at local breweries now have a new drink option.
Indiana's third-largest craft brewery, Upland Brewing Company, just announced the release of its first non-alcoholic drink.
"HopRX" is a sparkling hop water featuring natural lime flavors from hops with zero alcohol, calories, sugar or carbs.
"For years, we’ve had customers asking for a non-alcoholic option, and we wanted to create something different from what’s already out there,” said Samantha Marr, Upland Brewing Company sales and marketing director. “In recent years, we’ve seen mushrooms, herbals and botanicals enter the functional beverage space, but hops haven’t been as widely explored. With HopRX, we wanted to be among the first to showcase hops in a non-alcoholic, functional beverage that’s light, refreshing, and delicious.”
Not only does the drink feature a lime flavor, it's also infused with Vitamin C to support wellness.
“We wanted to offer a drink that not only tastes great but also supports a balanced lifestyle,” Marr said. “HopRX is a great choice for people looking to enjoy something refreshing without compromising on flavor or health.”
The drink will be offered at most locations where Upland Brewing Company products are sold like grocery stores, liquor stores and more by Sept. 18.
