Saraga International Grocery store celebrating 30th anniversary with food festival

INDIANAPOLIS — A local grocery store is celebrating its 30th anniversary with a multicultural food festival this weekend.

For three decades, the Saraga International Grocery store on Indy's west side has brought Hoosiers of all backgrounds together for its diverse stock of authentic international foods. 

On Sunday, Sept. 15, the store at 3605 Commercial Drive, near Lafayette Road and 38th Street, is hosting a festival to celebrate with food vendors and exhibits from around the world, including China, Jamaica, France, Morocco and more.

The event starts at noon and is free for everyone to attend.
