INDIANAPOLIS — With Thanksgiving almost here, Kroger Health registered dietitian Laura Brown joined 13Sunrise to offer advice for a memorable holiday feast.
Brown encourages families not to change the ingredients to your favorite dishes to make them more nutritious. Instead, she said to savor the day and try not to overindulge.
To set yourself up for success and avoid overindulging, Brown encourages you to eat small meals through the day while preparing the big meal, so you're not too hungry when it comes time for the big Thanksgiving feast.
Kroger's OptUp concept is a nutrition rating system and helps shoppers make nutritious choices.
