INDIANAPOLIS — Looking to make your Super Bowl spread unique but don't want to put in much work?
Eric Halvorson joined 13Sunrise Saturday with Gina Glaros to share some easy-to-make recipes you can use when hosting Super Bowl Sunday.
Here's the ingredients you'll need for each recipe and instructions you'll need:
Ingredients
- Cheesy crackers:
- Ham
- Swiss Cheese
- Crackers
- Seasoning sauce
- Marshmallow and chips treats:
- Butter
- Marshmallows
- Vanilla extract
- Potato Chips
- Chocolate chips or chocolate sauce
- Slow cooker meatballs:
- 26 oz. bag of frozen Kroger Homemade Meatballs
- 19 oz. bottle of Private Selection Hickory Smoke Sweet Peach BBQ Sauce
- 13 oz. jar of Private Selection Triple Berry Preserves
Instructions:
- Cheesy crackers:
- On a lined baking sheet, place a layer of your favorite crackers.
- Place a piece of cheese on each cracker, then a piece of ham.
- Top ham with another cracker.
- To create the sauce, blend:
- 4 tablespoons melted butter
- 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon favorite seasoning
½ teaspoon onion or garlic powder
Brush the sauce on the top of each cracker, then finish with a sprinkle of your favorite seasoning.
Place the baking sheet in a 350 degree oven. Bake the crackers for approximately ten minutes.

- Marshmallow and chips treats:
- Melt 3 tbsp of butter, add 1 tsp. of vanilla extract, then add and melt 10 oz. of marshmallows
- Place 8 oz. bag of potato chips in large mixing bowl, pour the melted marshmallow blend over the chips and mix
- Place the treats on a lined baking sheet
- Melt ½ cup of chocolate chips and drizzle chocolate over the potato chips
- Drizzle melted chocolate over the chips. Allow to set (if you can).
- Slow cooker meatballs:
- Mix the BBQ sauce and preserves in a slow cooker, then add meatballs
- Cook meatballs on low heat for 3 – 4 hours. To serve, meatballs should have an internal temperature of 165 degrees
