'This is the Olympics of talent' | Terry Crews previews 19th season of 'America's Got Talent'

The upcoming season will feature the youngest contestant in 'AGT' history, as well as more golden buzzers than ever before!

INDIANAPOLIS — How do you start an interview with Terry Crews? By asking him to pop his pec muscles? Sing "A Thousand Miles" to me, in reference to his character from "White Chicks?"

"First of all, you don't have to ask for me to pop my pecs. They're popping right now, so it's all good," Crews said.

"America's Got Talent" is in its 19th season, returning with judges Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, Sofia Vergara and Simon Cowell, as well as Crews coming back for his sixth season of hosting the talent show competition.

"People have grown up with 'America's Got Talent.' It is Americana. It is as American as the NFL, the NBA — AGT, the same thing," Crews said. "Now that it's an Olympic year, this is the Olympics of talent."

For the first time in "AGT" history, each judge will have two golden buzzers during the auditions.

"What happened was, you go through the golden buzzers and there's still great talent, so the judges were apologizing to acts on stage and saying, 'Hey, man, if I had another one..." Now, they have another one," Crews said. "I'll tell you right now: All eight golden buzzers from those judges did not go to waste. It was well-deserved."

There's never a shortage of talented people who audition, whether it be singers, magicians, ventriloquists, dance groups — and now, a math whiz toddler!

"We have the youngest contestant in 'Got Talent' history. This kid might take it all, which is crazy. He's literally a toddler — 2 years old. I think he dad took the bottle out of his mouth and put him on the stage," Crews said. "He was a mathematician, and he could do math that I couldn't even figure out."

Season 19 of "America's Got Talent" premieres Tuesday, May 28 at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
