Straight No Chaser bringing holiday cheer to Indiana on latest tour

The a cappella group will perform four shows in three days at the Murat Theatre in downtown Indianapolis.

Straight No Chaser is bringing the holiday spirit to Indianapolis this December.

The popular a cappella group, which formed at Indiana University, will perform four shows at the Murat Theatre Dec. 21-23, 2023. The shows are part of their 54-city "Sleighin' It Tour" that started Friday, Oct. 20 in Montana.

Some of the stops, including the Dec. 23 show in Indianapolis, will feature both matinee and evening performances.

In addition to the Indianapolis shows, Straight No Chaser will perform in four other Indiana cities:

  • South Bend - Nov. 24
  • Bloomington - Dec. 13
  • Evansville - Dec. 17
  • Ft. Wayne - Dec. 20

The tour will feature songs from the group's new "Stocking Stuffer" EP, which comes out Nov. 3, but is already available for pre-save and at shows on the tour.

Tracks on the album include a cover of Nat King Cole's "Happiest Christmas Tree," a new arrangement of "The Little Drummer Boy," a cover of Harry Connick Jr.'s "I Pray on Christmas" and several original songs. Among those is their humorous take on Walker Hayes' "Fancy Like," titled "Christmas Like."

“We are blessed to get to celebrate with people across the country 60 times over the holiday season,” Straight No Chaser member Steve Morgan said. “Performing our show where we see people run the gamut of emotions from laughter to tears and seeing families come together to savor the season is a fantastic gift for us each night!”

Tickets for the tour are currently available on the Straight No Chaser website.
