INDIANAPOLIS — Getting gear for Taylor Swift's Eras Tour is proving to cost a pretty penny here in Indianapolis, but fans waited in line since before the doors opened at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30 to pick out their favorite souvenirs.
Zach Atkinson walked out of the Indiana Convention Center with multiple bags in hand.
"My girlfriend's a huge Taylor Swift fan," Atkinson said. "Just trying to put a smile on her face."
Ashlyn Vanlandingham said she came down here after seeing a video on social media.
"I saw someone Snapchat this morning, the line was super long at 7 a.m.," Vanlandingham said. "I'm going to the Friday concert, so I wanted to get my stuff before."
However, Vanlandingham was surprised the lines weren't as bad as she thought.
"It was an easy process. I mean, the prices are high," Vanlandingham said.
Lindsay Perrin calls herself a Swiftie superfan.
"The best night of my life — and I do have two children," said Perrin, who has been to seven Taylor Swift concerts but still wanted more Swiftie gear. "I wanted to see if there's one with the new Eras states added."
Perrin was unable to get tickets to the show in Indianapolis this weekend, so she decided to apply to work the concert.
"I applied on a Friday, I interviewed on Monday and then, my first day will be on Friday, and I'm going to work three nights as either an usher, a security guard or a ticket taker," Perrin said.
She's putting in the work to experience Taylor Swift's Eras Tour in Indianapolis.
